Corey Taylor and Anders Colsefni: Current and former lead singer of Slipknot on stage together

Slipknot fans will go crazy this week in Des Moines when Stone Sour playing at the local club Wooly's. That's because the original Slipknot vocalist Anders Colsefni, will take the stage Monday night (October 29) with his current band Painface to open the show.
Colsefni appeared on demo of Slipknot in 1996, 'Mate Feed Kill Repeat', before leaving the band a year later. The group recruited current vocalist, Corey, to take over after the departure of Anders. Corey is playing with his other band, Stone Sour, Slipknot while enjoying a temporary hiatus.
In a post on the Facebook page of Painface, the group said: "Due to the surprisingly graceful Corey Taylor, the Painface was invited to open for Stone Sour this Monday, Oct. 29 from Wooly's. We are excited and proud to be able to support one of our favorite bands and music colleagues of Des Moines. The show is sold out, but we expect you to keep their hearts completely demonized for us, if you can not be there. There will be more information to follow. '
Besides Painface, reports Blabbermouth realize that Anders recently made an appearance in the latest Des Moines rock outfit Green Death's latest EP, which arrives digitally on October 30.
