Basement Sessions

O palco iniciante do Slipknot começou lá em 1992 no porão de Paul Gray, tendo como nome Painface (nome de banda que Anders Colsefini mais tarde reutilizou). Mesmo a banda não assumindo o título de Slipknot, o grupo tinha aquele sentimento agressivo que se pode esperar de Anders Colsefini, Shawn Crahan, Paul Gray e Patrick Neuwirth. Durante o ínicio desse período, as canções “Slipknot”, “Gently”, “Idiot”, “Whats Wrong” e “Wise Up” foram gravadas, para mais tarde serem conhecidas como as “Sessões de Porão”. Infelizmente Shawn acabou muito ocupado com seu trabalho e o projeto acabou.

Pat
Patrick M. Neuwirth (de apelido Nekcheck) ou Pat era da formação original do Slipknot (Slipknot, capítulo 1) entre ‘91 e ‘93. Pat costumava ajudar na primeira banda de Shawn Crahan, Heads on the Wall que tinha Quan Nong como membro (ex-guitarrista do Slipknot).
Pat atualmente está vivendo como escultor de metais e designer de móveis. Vêm ocupando todo seu tempo nesta área pelos últimos três anos e agora está realmente começando a ver retorno.
Quando Pat ainda estava na banda, eles tinham como nome Painface; antes disso se chamavam de Pull My Finger, que depois foi encurtado para Pull. Andy usou o nome Painface logo após sair do Slipknot. Patrick foi mesmo o primeiro guitarrista – ele só tocou na banda por alguns meses durante a primavera de ’92 – quando Slipknot voltou em ‘95, já tinha uma nova formação.

Basement Sessions

The beginner stage of Slipknot began there in 1992 in the basement of Paul Gray, whose name Painface (name of band that Anders Colsefini later reused). Patrick M. Neuwirth (alias Nekcheck) or Pat was the original lineup of Slipknot (Slipknot, Chapter 1) between '91 and '93. Pat used to help in the first banda Shawn Crahan, Heads on the Wall who was a member Quan Nong (ex-Slipknot guitarist).

Pat is currently living as a metal sculptor and furniture designer. Have occupied all his time in this area for the past three years and is now really starting to see return.

When Pat was still in the band, they had to name Painface; earlier if called Pull My Finger, which was later shortened to Pull. Andy used the name Painface soon after leaving Slipknot. Patrick was not the first guitarist - he only played in the band for a few months during the spring of '92 - when Slipknot came back in '95, I had a new lineup.
